Aztec Blue Cushion

Aztec Blue is a stunning cushion cover designed by Tamasyn Gambell in the UK. Colours are deep blue, pale pink and yellow, and are screen printed using water-based inks onto European linen for a luxurious feel. The front is the Aztec design and the back is the same fabric in plain light grey.

Each cushion is cut from a different part of the cloth, so therefore the pattern placement varies and no two cushions are the same. This is adds to the uniqueness of these hand-made pieces.

It coordinates well with Aztec Red, Textured Stripe and Abstract cushions.

Tamasyn Gambell studied printed textiles at Chelsea College of Art and the Royal College in London, and experimented with print design in both fashion and interiors. She has worked for high-end companies such as Louis Vuitton and high-street brands such as H&M, but became frustrated with the lack of originality and innovation. She decided to set up her own company, producing high-quality, thoughtful and timeless designs using methods that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
