Bullfinch Cushion

This delightful, whimsical illustration of the Bullfinch is by UK artist/designer Lorna Syson, part of her "Songbirds" series. It's designed by Lorna and screen printed onto 100% cotton. Beautiful for babies, children and grown-ups alike. 

The bright peach feathery breasts of the Bullfinch are a delight to see in the British woodland. They have a secretive nature and are seen feasting on bright coloured flower buds during springtime.

Lorna Syson is an award-winning designer who takes inspiration from the great British outdoors. She draws on nature, such as the birds that nest outside her bedroom window, and her fondest childhood memories involve spending summers picking berries and playing in the woods. She launched her first collection in 2009 with the help of the Princes Trust.
